Hiking and mountain biking enthusiasts can enjoy the Parenzana trails, where a narrow-gauge railway, operating in northwestern Istria between 1902 and 1935, used to connect the ports of Trieste and Poreč with villages and towns in the inner parts of the Istrian peninsula.
